Meteosatlib - Library for accessing georeferentiated satellite images
The library allows to:
- Read images in GRIB, SAF HDF5 and some NetCDF based formats.
- Write images in GRIB, JPG, PNG and some NetCDF based formats.
- Precisely correlate every pixel with its geographical coordinates
- Extract image subareas
- Display images
- Reproject images
The HRIT image format is also supported when the library is built with the non-free wavelet decompression library provided by Eumetsat.
